Louisiana's Fraud Investigation Unit has selected AEI's Claims Fraud Investigation and Defense program to train its investigators.

Louisiana's Fraud Investigation Unit was created by La. Rev. Stat. 40:1422. The unit, part of the state police, is dedicated to the investigation of property, casualty, workers' compensation, life, and health insurance fraud. The 2010 amendment to the statute addresses training and requires all members of the unit to complete AEI's Fraud Claims Law Specialist program.

College Credit

We’re pleased to announce that the National Program on Noncollegiate Sponsored Instruction (National PONSI) conducted a review of AEI courses and renewed the recommendation of our courses for college credit.

The evaluating team had some high praise for AEI courses and administration. Here is a sampling of their comments:

The textbooks are exceptional and thoroughly cover the course content.

A very well thought-out system is in place for generating, proofing and editing examination items, revising them as new editions of texts are developed, and posting them into the online delivery system.

Looking back over nearly three decades of service with National PONSI, I do not believe I have experienced a more sophisticated system for ensuring that an individual who passes an examination and achieves your industry designations is deserving of that status.

To see college credit recommendations for AEI courses visit National PONSI’s website at www.nationalponsi.org/ccr/Listings/american_educational_institute.htm.

New courses are in development on Good Faith Claims Handling and Reservation of Rights.

And look for our all new online exam in the coming months.
